Swinging into Fall

This weather in Atlanta has been so weird lately. Mother Nature hasn’t really made up her mind yet on what season it’s supposed to be; it’s been rainy for the past 12 days {which feels like forever} but it has been pretty warm outside up until yesterday. Let me just tell you, it’s been quite the challenge to get pictures lately with all the rain and gloomy weather. It finally started to feel like fall yesterday except it was still rainy and overcast. I need a little bit of sun, stat! With the warmer than normal weather we were having, I was able to wear my favorite black swing dress with some booties this weekend. This type of dress not only looks good on just about everyone, its ultra comfortable and you can pair it with just about anything. This swing dress should be a closet staple if it’s not already! I paired mine with some cognac wedge booties, skinny belt, and a leopard print infinity scarf. I wore this to Church yesterday when it was still warmer, and by the time I walked out it was windy and cold. Sigh. Either way, this is one of my favorite easy weekend looks for the changing weather. You could even pair it with tights into slightly colder weather too. My booties are from last season, but I linked a similar pair below that are on sale. There are tons of sweaters and boots on sale right now at Nordstrom, so make sure to stock up if you haven’t already on fall and winter staples!
