Weekend Wear | Easy breezy cape and shorts

Sometimes it’s easy to wear the same style staples on a hot Saturday afternoon. I normally reach for a dress or a cute workout outfit if I’m taking it really casual. I never really venture into shorts territory because they aren’t always our friends right? Luckily this super cute t-shirt cape came to the rescue. I wish I could show you guys just how soft and slinky this thing is, it’s the best. I love how it can dress up a pair of shorts and simple tank and it covers things up! Check out the links below to find this outfit or similar breezy looks.

‘Pencil Skirt’ Casual

Being that I work in a corporate environment, I have LOTS of skirts. Amanda and I love to re-purpose clothes and find different ways to wear them (because let’s be real you can’t wear a new piece every day and if you find something you love, get your use out of it!), especially the quintessential pencil skirt. I usually jazz it up with a billowy blouse and heels but sometimes it’s nice for those casual summer days to just wear them with a super soft tee and cute wedges. I love the combination of a casual tee with a bright or patterned skirt. There are tons of cute espadrilles out there right now and they’re a great way to look stylish but save your feet! (I preach cute & comfortable…) Check out the links below to find this look.

Mother Nature has not been able to make up her mind these past few weeks in Atlanta! Its been rainy and cold, and then we have random days where its sunny and 65 degrees. I’m just ready for spring! But while the weather is still cooler, this is one of my go-to looks…and this vest has been on repeat all winter, I love it!
