A Color Block Thanksgiving

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday week, and if you are working… we feel you! Everyone is out and about running errands this week so I wanted to find a look that is casual but put together. A great poncho can help dress up any simple outfit and it’s perfect for transitioning to a full winter look. Awhile back they announced color block sweaters where in for this winter and I was hooked. I found this adorable one I’m wearing from Mango. It’s not available online but I found the exact same one on Bloomingdale’s for you guys. A great poncho and leggings are my tip for a great thanksgiving which we hope is filled with lots of family, friends, turkey and drinks! Make sure to check out our next blog where we’re going to up the best Black Friday deals, so you can spend it in this look running around SHOPPING! Links for the look below! xoxo – Natalie

Wear Now, Wear Later: The Shift Dress

I love pieces that you can style several ways and that you can wear into multiple seasons. This wine colored dress is perfect for that! I styled it two different ways: one for now while it’s warmer, and then one for fall (or when the weather cools down a bit more!).  This dress is seriously a must have. It was re-stocked from the Nordstrom sale, and it comes in a TON of other really pretty colors.

Wear Now

For the summer style, I paired it with open toe gray booties that are a little cooler than regular boots, and one of my favorite cross body bags. This bag is a dupe of a way more expensive bag and is a steal at under $30. I belted the dress for a little bit of a different look too.

Wear Later

I love this fall look. In fact I really cannot wait for it to get cooler so that I can actually wear it out. Fun Fact: while taking these pictures it was like 95 degrees out, no bueno for OTK boots and a hat. SO HOT. I love these over the knee boots-they are so comfy and actually pretty easy to walk in, and I love how they looked paired with the wine color. They would equally cute with the olive or printed version of this dress too. This hat I scored at Target for less than $25, and I have a feeling I will be wearing it alot this fall. I will definitely be rocking this dress with a cute blanket scarf too, just when it finally cools off!

Favorite Boots for Fall

One of the best things about this time of the year (other than all the delicious food!) is the footwear options. I love all the new boots and booties out this season. Especially popular are over the knee boots. While you can definitely drop some serious change on a pair of OTK boots, we have linked two more affordable pairs that come in several different colors. We are also really loving the lower heeled booties right now too. They are perfect to wear with dresses, jeans, and just about everything else. They give you a little height without being too tall or difficult to walk in. These red boots below come in navy and red and have the cutest tassels on the back zipper. This red pair will definitely add a pop of color to your look. There are really unlimited options out there, but we linked some of our favorites for this season below.
